Because it highlights the package, plain matte white is one of the best colors to use for Mylar bags. Once sealed, the bags are airtight and leak-proof, making them ideal for storage. In order to shield their contents from adverse storage conditions, they are also constructed of thick polyester resin.
To facilitate use, the bags also feature a tear notch. Furthermore, the bag becomes tamper evident to satisfy compliance requirements once it has been heat sealed.
